Got Windows? CutePDF Writer is the free version of commercial PDF creation software. It enables virtually any Windows application to create professional quality PDF documents. It installs like a printer, but when you print to it, it makes a PDF. PDF files are great for us because they don’t change. What it looks like on your screen is what it will look like on our screen, and on your finished print job.

Many new programs already have the ability to make a PDF. Office 2003 and newer can. Google docs can. So does Open Office. But if you still can’t make a PDF from the program you are working in, this is here to help you.

One other note: When CutePDF installs it also asks to install a toolbar in your internet browser. This isn’t needed to make it work, so uncheck the box. Because the software isn’t ours, we can’t change it.
